MAKE THE MOST OF EVERY MOMENT
This unit asks learners what does it mean to be free and consider how to make the most of every moment.
Life is short but we often do not realise this until we are much older. Through a study of the drama Free!, learners will appreciate the lives they are living right now. They will also think about their futures and dreams, and learn to use language persuasively. This unit will show how literature can help us understand others and ourselves.
Learners will explore essential language skills in order to be persuasive and know how to argue effectively. They will think about what they want from life and explore how language can help them to make the right choices. Using rhetorical devices, learners will craft their language in order to manipulate and persuade, learning to argue effectively.
